Medieval village Canale and Lake Tenno

Turquoise in its purest radiation

A turquoise lake and a timeless medieval village

Tenno is an authentic treasure chest of beauty where naturalistic elements of great value coexist, such as the turquoise blue of Lake Tenno surrounded by Mediterranean maquis, albeit in an alpine setting, and a medieval village, Canale, whose past echoes in every glimpse, every ravine, every stone vault.

Lake Tenno, which is suitable for swimming, is an oasis of tranquillity, with crystal clear waters and uncontaminated landscapes. Its beaches are free and equipped. It is known for its blue colour because the surrounding woods and the white stones of the seabed give it a blue green colour. Canale di Tenno (570 meters above sea level) is located in the territory recognized as UNESCO Biosphere “Alpi Ledrensi e Judicaria”, is part of the club of the most beautiful villages in Italy where the House of Artists, named after the painter Giacomo Vittone, as a place of residence and meeting place for artists from all over Europe.

Another marvel to see in Tenno (428 meters above sea level) is the castle of Tenno and the village of Frapporta from which you can enjoy a splendid view of Lake Garda.
